If you ask a Connecticut CXer about Brodie, you very likely will get a panicked response having something to do with extreme mud, a lot of running, and bike repair that lasts for days.

It seemed like every year was a glop-fest there. Some loved it. The venue wasn't always appreciative though, for good reason.

The wet weather leading to November has forced the preemptive cancellation of the event there. Another event is being sought to replace Brodie.

For now, the CTCX pivots to being 6 races. Any podium finishers for the series will need to have started a minimum of 4 races to be eligible. This is down from 5 races.
