Eneas Freyre dominated the field for the second year in a row. Untouchable in the scoring.
WRAPPED UP: MENS 50+
Michael Wonderly has a fourteen point lead and can not be caught by local rider Wade Summers. Summers has a nine point lead, so the podium is mostly set in the series.
WRAPPED UP: MENS 60+
Dave "Rusty" Rustico has ten point lead, but William Thompson, in second place, will not be racing. This was one of the best battles of the season. Thompson won early series races, and Rustico came on late with victories in the last two events.
WRAPPED UP: CAT 3
Anthony Vecca dominated from start to finish, winning every contest he entered, except for the race at KMC. Karel Citroen, also on Stage 1, rode just as consistently and has 2nd place locked up.
UP FOR GRABS: WOMEN'S 3,4,5
Ruth Spooner has rode consistently and has dominated the races. New Haven resident and new CX racer, Kristin Anderson ride consistently as well, and is just seven points down. Adele Paquin, in 3rd place, nine points down to Anderson, has a crack at 2nd place, but needs a fortunate break at Bishops Orchard CX.
UP FOR GRABS: CAT 4
Jason Lupke was the most dominate racer, winning three events. Junior rider Ben Nafis was the most consistent though, and he carries a twelve point lead into the final race. He simply needs to finish in the top 12 to hang on to the title.
JUNIOR FIELDS: MOSTLY WRAPPED UP EXCEPT....
There will be an epic battle in the Girls 12-14 field, as just 2 points separate 1st and 3rd. Teagan Geran leads by a single point over Sadie Rueckert, and 2 points over Aeryn Northway. There is a two point bonus for winning the race (12 points for first, 10 points for second), so this division could go to any of these girls.
In the other fields, the boys 15-18 division is close, and Nic Villamizar will need to have a strong race to fend off Ryan Zwick. Same goes for Elena Huber and Adela Chenail. Just five points separate those two 9-11 year olds.
